Visit the Old Town + Boat Trip on Lake Ohrid

Visit the Old Town + Visit to the Monastery of St. Naum

We start with a walking tour of the old part of the city. The Gallery of Icons, the imposing Samuil’s Fortress, the Ancient Theater, the Monastery of St. Kliment on Plaoshnik, the Cathedral Church of St. Sophia (11th century), etc., are just part of our rich agenda. At the end of the half-day walking tour, we visit the artisan workshop where the original Ohrid pearls are sold and we will hear the story of how their work began. Free time in the center to explore the bazaar.

In the afternoon, we head to the most visited monastery complex in our country, the monastery "St. Naum", built at the end of the 9th century, almost on the border with Albania. We visit the church with the possibility of an optional boat ride in one of the most protected ecological areas, the area where the most powerful springs of Lake Ohrid and the Black Drim River are located.
