The full-day excursion in Velеs is designed as an authentic local experience that combines history, culture, craftsmanship and homemade gastronomy. The tour is inspired by the cultural heritage of Kosta Solev Racin and the life in the traditional neighborhoods of Velеs.

The tour starts with a light walk through the city. During the walk, stories are told about the history and cultural life of Velеs, with panoramic views of:

• The Memorial Ossuary (Spomen Kosturnica)

• The hill with the cross and the church of St. Elijah

• The old parts of the city

Guests receive a short introduction to the urban lifestyle and traditions of the region.

This is followed by a visit to a local pottery family, where visitors can:

• Watch a demonstration of traditional pottery making

• Participate in a small workshop

• Make their own small souvenir

Pottery is one of the most well-known traditional crafts in the region and a very interesting interactive activity for tourists.

The gastronomic part is organized on the Kojnik hill with a view of the city and the Vardar river.
