One-Day Tour from Skopje to Viničani - Visit to a Donkey Farm

We depart from Skopje in the morning hours.

Some information about the village of Viničani:

Viničani, with just over 470 residents, is located in the Klepa region, on the right bank of the Vardar River. It is 23 km south of Veles and only 5 km from the municipal city area of Gračko.

The village is known for frequently changing its location. There is historical evidence—archaeological findings—that show Viničani has moved its position more than nine times. Many records, both in Macedonian and Turkish books, confirm the current location, making it a credible one.

The economy in Viničani is steadily growing, with agriculture as the primary sector, contributing 80% to the economic activity. In the past, the main crops were cotton, tobacco, and opium, but since the 1990s, vineyards and fruit trees have been planted.

Viničani is one of the largest producers of early horticultural crops in Macedonia, with significant exports of peppers, eggplants, apricots, peaches, and other agricultural products.

It is here, at this location, that Theo's farm is situated.

• Upon arrival at the farm, we will be greeted by the hosts and introduced to the family.

• Milk production process, including milking, processing, and storage.

The tour ends with the return journey to Skopje in the afternoon.
