The property is situated in a peaceful and secluded natural setting, close to the border with Bulgaria. The surrounding area offers beautiful nature, beech forests, and numerous trails suitable for hiking and cycling.

The mountain peak Ruen (2,252 m a.s.l.) is approximately a 2-hour hike from the property, making the accommodation an excellent base for hiking, cycling, and exploring the surrounding mountain landscape.

The property has no immediate neighbors, providing guests with a high level of privacy and tranquility. There are a few weekend houses in the wider area, but they are used only occasionally and are not permanently occupied.
