Vesna is our new local heroine who lives for Lesnovo. Those who have visited her yard and enjoyed the delicious homemade food she prepares every day with her own hands know what a happy and positive story we are sharing today.
Vesna's yard has been hosting various domestic and foreign tourists for quite some time, including groups of ambassadors, families with children who want fresh air, nature, and healthy food.

Vesna's yard is located opposite the Lesnovo Monastery, about 1000 meters on foot. The yard features a gazebo with a capacity of up to 35 people, but as Vesna says, guests prefer to enjoy the green meadow. There are several signposts leading to the yard, making it easier to find.
She says she started with tourism back in 2008, when they began at a different location in the village. However, due to the development of the idea, in 2016 they built the current gazebo in the yard of their house. Today, she jokingly says that 'she works from home.'
The idea to start something like this came from her husband, Zoran, and they received support from their children, so they say it is a family business.
Vesna adds that they have a guestbook full of positive comments, and there are even guests who visit them multiple times, which is proof that they are satisfied with their service.
They mostly prepare traditional food, such as rolled dough, fruit preserves from the produce in Lesnovo, homemade juices, homemade plum and grape rakija, and vegetable salads that they grow themselves in their garden.
Vesna says that she prepares the food, sweets, and juices, while the grill and rakija are handled by her husband.
