The winery has a capacity of 1,200,000 liters of wine, with the potential for future expansion.
The owners began building the winery in 2004, and most of the vineyards were planted two years later.
Every wine is made from the winery’s own grapes, grown on their own plantation. On-site, the winery features a restaurant designed for tastings, offering a stunning view of the vineyards.
Grkov wines mature in a beautiful wine cellar that is open for visits. In 2007, Grkov Wine Cellar also started organic wine production, making it the first winery in Macedonia to produce wine from organic grapes.
The winery is situated at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. The terrain of Krnjevo, along with the climate, provides perfect conditions for high-quality grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The vineyards are planted with first-class imported materials.
The quality of the grapes is influenced by the unique climate, which is a mix of Mediterranean influences from the Aegean Sea to the south and continental climate effects from Mount Kožuf to the north.
