Fish Restaurant "Belica" - Macedonia

Today, we would like to introduce you to the Fish Restaurant "Belica," which has become part of our "Gastronomy" base that we are continuously expanding to encourage food enthusiasts to travel more. This place is located near Lake Kozjak, in beautiful nature.

It is easy to reach if you travel through Makedonski Brod, and you might think you'd be tired from such a long journey. For that reason, the hosts of the restaurant have opened their own rooms for accommodation to allow guests to enjoy the nature for a longer time. The Belica restaurant has been operating since 2022. It is a family business focused on trout farming. Given its favorable location and beautiful nature, the hosts decided to expand their business and open a fish restaurant and accommodation. It is the largest fish farm in Macedonia, and in the farm, you can find California, river, red, and Ohrid trout.

For those who are hearing about the village of Belica for the first time, this village is located near Makedonski Brod, close to Lake Kozjak. It is 65 kilometers away from Skopje via the "Jasen" pass "Kula."

The Belica River flows through the village, which is a tributary of the Treska River. The river is a protected natural monument.

Near the village, there are several underground caves, which are rich in internal cave formations, such as the caves: Momichak, Laparnica, and Gulubarnica.
