Alesto Winery: A Blend of Tradition and Scenic Beauty in the Heart of Arvati Village
The village of Arvati is located about 3 kilometers east of the Great Prespa Lake, nestled in a deep, picturesque valley on Mount Baba (also known as Pelister). Situated at an altitude of around 1000 meters, with a stunning view of the lake, this village is an ideal spot for rest and relaxation. With its rich history, anyone who decides to visit is sure to want to return.
The name of Alesto Winery comes from a combination of the names of the brothers behind it, Aleksandar and Stojance, who promise that guests will enjoy the atmosphere. The location itself is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, sunsets, and the mountain air fills the lungs with purity.
The winery's vineyards are located at two micro-locations, at an altitude of 900 meters, with grape varieties such as Stanushina, Prokupac, Temjanika, Vranec, and Smederevka, which are reflected in labels that hold both history and mystery, according to Aleksandar.
The doors of Alesto Winery are open to anyone who wants to enjoy the story and explore the village of Arvati. A group of up to 20 people can comfortably be accommodated at the winery to enjoy a wine tasting. So, don't hesitate—such places in Macedonia need your support.
