About the school

“Ljuboten” Ski School is run by Vuk and Bojan, two young and ambitious instructors at Popova Shapka. Each season, they teach around 500 children and introduce them to skiing and winter sports.

Ski lessons

Groups are organised according to the children’s experience:

• Beginners learn the basic skiing techniques.
• More experienced skiers work on improving their skills.

The school has two practice areas. The first is for children who are new to skiing. The second focuses on technique and fitness, preparing them for lessons on the ski slopes.

Teaching approach and facilities

The instructors aim to give each child individual attention and help them learn to control their skis correctly and safely. Suitable equipment and well-prepared slopes are also important for a successful learning experience.

Ski season

The school operates throughout the ski season, which varies depending on weather conditions. The organisers are pleased to see growing interest in active holidays and winter sports. After completing their lessons, children can continue skiing at resorts in North Macedonia and beyond.
