One-Day Tour in the Heart of Maleshevo

Berovo is a small, yet picturesque town in this region, renowned for its beautiful nature, clean air, and traditional architecture. In the Maleshevo Mountains, Berovo is an ideal destination for lovers of peace, mountain walks, and authentic local experiences.

There is much to see and explore in Berovo. In our one-day tour, we will focus on the spiritual, historical, and cultural heritage of the region.

We will visit the St. Archangel Michael Monastery – also known as the Women's Monastery. It is the only monastery in Macedonia where mosaics are still made.

We will also visit the Church of the Holy Virgin – built in the style of Byzantine-Macedonian churches from the Middle Ages.

Explore Berovo with a visit to local artisans and enjoy lunch with locals. Berovo is famous for its cow and sheep cheese, homemade sausages, honey, and organic products. A traditional Maleshevo feast is an essential part of our tour.
