Location
Mavrovo Ski Center is located on the slopes of Mount Bistra within Mavrovo National Park, near Mavrovo Lake. Thanks to its natural setting and elevation, the area offers stable snow conditions and an authentic mountain atmosphere.
Elevation
Skiing takes place at an altitude of approximately 1,255 to 1,860 meters, providing a long and high-quality winter season.
Ski Slopes
The center features around 25 kilometers of well-maintained ski slopes suitable for beginners, recreational skiers, and advanced skiers and snowboarders, making it ideal for a wide range of visitors.
Lifts and Ski Infrastructure
Mavrovo has several ski lifts and chairlifts with a total length of about 5,700 meters, ensuring smooth access across different parts of the ski area.
Ski Season
The season typically begins in December and lasts until the end of March or early April, depending on weather and snow conditions. Some slopes are equipped for night skiing.
Additional Activities
Besides alpine skiing and snowboarding, Mavrovo offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and recreational winter hikes throughout the national park.
