Galichnik
A picturesque village nestled on the slopes of Mount Bistra, known for its stone houses, narrow streets, and rich history dating back to the 14th century.
The village lies at an altitude of 1270 to 1500 meters, surrounded by pastures, greenery, and endless beauty.
Today, Galichnik is a popular tourist attraction. The locals have long since moved away but return to renovate their houses and escape the summer heat.
An interesting fact is that during the winter, Galichnik has only one resident.
The most famous tradition in Galichnik is the Galichka Wedding, which is traditionally held every year in July on St. Peter's Day.
There is much to see and hear in Galichnik.
On our tour, we will be joined by local residents who will share with us the myths and legends of this divine place.
After a full day of exploring the village, we will enjoy a traditional Galichki lunch with local Galichki products.
The group will also have the opportunity to experience the preparation of Galichko cheese.
The tour is a full-day adventure.
We will depart from Skopje in the early morning hours and return to Skopje in the evening.
