Viktor Paun, Daniel, Dule Shutin, Dejan Risho, and Dejan Naumoski are among the heroic cyclists who tirelessly promote the beauty of western Macedonia. For them, there are no forest paths they don't know, and no significant places on the local mountains they haven’t visited.

As a group, they have been organizing local bike tours for travelers who have their own bicycles for some time now. Their tours are mostly organized on Mount Jablanica and Karaorman, but they are often found on Galichica and Stogovo as well.

One of the most exciting adventures is riding on the former military road through the "Tri Shilka" outpost, which they often recommend to all MTB enthusiasts.

Tour 1: Tri Shilka – Qafasan – Radogja
The tour starts with cycling on asphalt to Vishni (1040 m. above sea level), and then continues on a forest path to the "Tri Shilka" outpost (1500 m. above sea level). The descent leads along the border with Albania to the Qafasan border crossing, and then continues along a forest path to the village of Radogja. Throughout the journey, cyclists enjoy a beautiful panorama of Lake Ohrid and Struga.

Tour 2: Malesija
This tour is a true attraction for MTB bikers and invites them to explore the Malesija region, located on the western slopes of Mount Karaorman. The ride starts towards the Globochica hydroelectric power plant, and then an off-road ascent begins through the villages of Selci and Burinec to Lokov (1350 m. above sea level). From Lokov, the trail continues through 'Rzanovo' to Zb'jdi, and then asphalt roads lead to Prisovjani, Mislodezhda, and back to Struga.

Tour 3: Labunishki Bacje
The Labunishki Bacje are located on Mount Jablanica, 6 km from the village of Labunishte. The ascent to the Bacje offers a fascinating view, and 2.5 km further are the two Labunishki lakes at 1930 m. above sea level. From there, the path continues through the Labunishki lakes to Podgorečko Lake, then to the Podgorečko Bacje and the village of Podgorc.

Additional Routes:
One of the most exciting MTB routes on Mount Jablanica is to the village of Lakajca, at around 1300 m. above sea level. The path is 10 km of off-road, perfect for MTB. This year, an adventure route from Struga to Lakajca, Labunishki Bacje, and back to Struga will be organized.

A true challenge for MTB bikers is cycling to the Vevchanska Lokva and Golina, located around 1700 m. above sea level, one of the most popular destinations during the spring and summer months.

Required Equipment:
Bicycle, backpack, some food, and water. Cyclists need to be in good condition for a ride of about 70 kilometers and an ascent of approximately 1000 meters.
