Villa and wine in the forgotten village of Ramne: A phenomenal autumn view

Have you heard of the village of Ramne? One of the forgotten peaceful and quiet villages above Ohrid. Kajak.mk will be posting travel destination suggestions this week that are perfect for enjoying the colors and flavors of autumn.

In the village of Ramne, there is a unique villa that you can privately reserve. The villa is ideal for people seeking peace and quiet, especially for those who prioritize meditation, lakeside ambiance, yoga, and quality wine during their travels.

The village of Ramne is accessible by an asphalt road, which is also frequently used for hiking or cycling. It is important to note that Ramne is connected by a dirt road to the village of Velestovo, which also offers a stunning view of Ohrid and can be your daily route to complete the day.

The villa has two rooms with a toilet, a large yard with a beautiful view of the city, and a veranda where you can taste quality homemade wines provided by the owners with prior arrangement.

In the surroundings of the village, there is a hydroelectric plant, one of the first built in Macedonia, with picturesque nature and water springs.

What can you visit in the surroundings of the accommodation:

Archaeological sites:

Kumbarci — medieval church and necropolis;

Makla — medieval necropolis;

Monasteries — medieval church and necropolis;

Ramnenki Lozja — settlement and necropolis from Roman times;
