From Vineyard to Bottle: Borche Stojkov’s Affordable Wines

From Vineyard to Bottle: Borche Stojkov’s Affordable Wines

The grocery store of Kajak.mk is gradually transforming into a small fair of family wineries, where you can find new flavors and wines that are rarely available on the shelves of the mass market.

Today, we are taking you to the village of Stanjevci, a village with only 40 inhabitants. The village is located 40 kilometers from Sveti Nikole and is at an altitude of 500 meters.

The ideal altitude and quality soil have encouraged Mr. Borche to cultivate his own vineyards and produce wine.

Borche tells Kajak.mk that he started working in viticulture 20 years ago, in 2004. Over the years, the idea grew in him to start organic wine production, something that would be healthy and enjoyable for consumption.

Exactly three years ago, Borche decided to start organic cultivation of the vineyards. Aware that the yield would decrease, but happy that he would be able to produce good wine for himself and his loved ones.

His love for viticulture and organic wine production motivated him to register his own small family winery. Today, the already registered winery "Stojkov" produces and bottles rosé, red, and white wine, which is "organic in the transitional phase."

The rosé wine is created as a blend of Vranec, Muscat Hamburg, and Prokupac, while the red cuvée wine is made from the varieties Vranec, Burgundy, and Merlot. You can order his wines with delivery to your address, and you can view them with one click HERE.
