Today, we would like to introduce you to the Topolnik Fishpond. The fishpond is located 4 kilometers from Kočani and is surrounded by a beautiful forest. Spring and summer are the ideal times to visit the fishpond, as it has a spacious grassy yard where, if you have children, they can enjoy and expend all their energy.
The Kajak.mk team spoke with Pavel, who opened the doors of his fishpond for us and warmly welcomed us with a glass of rakija and homemade sheep cheese, which many who have been here will agree is outstanding.
The main dish or specialty of the kitchen is, of course, the fresh fish caught from the ponds of the fishpond and prepared immediately. However, Pavel also says that here you can enjoy the wonderful grill and various specialties made in the traditional way using the secrets of the local chefs in the kitchen.
The fishpond is a beautifully secluded spot, perfect for a delightful family lunch or dinner.
Fish specialties include trout and carp, and as we mentioned, the sheep cheese is something that must be tried.
