The village is located about 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by a dense oak forest from the Plekan Mountain, offering excellent terrain for autumn walks and photographing the golden colors of fall.
Autumn has its own distinct scent. If you decide to visit the village, our advice is to walk for a longer time in nature to experience the smell of fresh mountain air and fallen leaves.
After your walk, our team recommends visiting the "Na Valajci" restaurant, which is a true echo of the past for the traditional valavici and watermills.
The restaurant is built in a characteristic Macedonian ethnographic style, and combined with nature, it will help you forget about your problems and stress. "Bela Reka" flows here, and the sound of its water will enhance your enjoyment as you relax in the restaurant.
What is unique about the restaurant is the strong rumbling of the water from Bela Reka, which falls from a great height, passing through two beech pipes and into a whirlpool that leads to the village.
These traditional valavici and watermills were built in the 19th century and were used to process the fabric of the jamboli. Back then, the purpose was to stretch and press the fabric. Today, the hosts of the restaurant say that the valavica in their restaurant remains as an example of tradition and the way of life before the Second World War.
In the restaurant, you can taste roasted pork and lamb in a wood-fired oven, as recommended by the team at Kajak.mk.
