Supporting the Local Economy Through Every Team-Building

Supporting the Local Economy Through Every Team-Building

Last weekend, the team at Kajak.mk organized another wonderful team-building trip in the Demir Kapija region. This time, we were joined by the employees of the 'Damilah' company.

For the Tikveš region and Demir Kapija, we can only confirm that they are areas with immense potential for tourism development. All that’s needed is for companies to think more often about how, through team-building trips, they can provide direct support to the locals, who, for Kajak.mk, are significant drivers of the tourism stories across regions throughout the country.

An example of direct support to the local economy was given by the company Damilah, which, through the agenda, visited several local families whose stories are worth hearing and experiencing.

The stories of the 'Peshkov' winery and the 'Zingiber' workshop were our first stopovers, while Uncle Mišo's home in the village of Chiflik was our final destination.

From education on the grape processing and wine production process, to studying wood carving, a hiking tour along the beautiful Bosava River, wine tasting paired with food, and even working in Uncle Mišo's home—when we sum up all these activities, they result in positive experiences for the employees and direct financial support for the households.

We are pleased by the fact that these team-building events we organize allow employees to learn new information, acquire new skills, and for their company to demonstrate social responsibility by providing direct support to local households.

Besides supporting the local economy, the company Damilah, through the team-building event, donated 200 new trees for reforestation, which will be planted during the autumn campaign.
