From today, the restaurant Savaro is part of our "Gastronomy" database. It is located on the main road from Istibanja to Makedonska Kamenica.
For those unfamiliar with the village of Istibanja, it boasts great tourism potential, especially due to its therapeutic geothermal baths. The Bregalnica River flows through the village, and above it, you can find the Istibanja Dam and the Bregalnica River Canyon.
Visitors to the restaurant are also encouraged to explore the two local churches, St. Petka and St. Stefan. Additionally, every September, the village hosts the "Zdravozhivo" Folklore Festival, featuring numerous groups from Macedonia and around the world.
The hosts of Savaro restaurant, who warmly welcomed us, shared that the establishment has been operating since 2007. It is easily accessible by any vehicle, as it offers a large private parking area.
The uniqueness of the restaurant lies in its location—surrounded by nature, greenery, and the river. The venue itself features a spacious yard with grass, trees, and a playground for children equipped with various recreational facilities.
