Stanica Varvara – A Century-Old Story Transformed into a Unique Event Venue
History Carved in Stone
Stanica Varvara is a place where history, authentic architecture, and modern hospitality come together in one distinctive setting.
Built in 1904, this historic building once served as a Turkish police station. For more than a century, it has stood as a witness to the passage of time, preserving its distinctive architecture and character.
Today, following a complete renovation, Stanica Varvara has been given a new life without losing its authenticity. Original stone elements, cobblestone paths, wine barrels, and centuries-old walnut trees are all part of the setting that makes this venue different from conventional event spaces.
A swimming pool has also been added to the historic setting, creating an appealing contrast between the old and the contemporary.
A Venue for Special Events
Stanica Varvara is designed to host a variety of events and celebrations, from weddings and birthdays to corporate events, private parties, and other special occasions.
The venue offers a bar and catering services, with the space adaptable to the character and requirements of each event.
What truly sets Stanica Varvara apart is its atmosphere. Rather than gathering in a standard hall or contemporary event space, guests come together in a historic building with its own story, authentic details, and an ambience that evokes another era.
From a Police Station to a Place for New Memories
More than 120 years ago, very different stories unfolded here. Today, the same space becomes a setting for new ones.
A wedding beneath centuries-old walnut trees.
A celebration by the pool.
A corporate event in an authentic historic setting.
An evening with friends, good food, and drinks.
Stanica Varvara is more than a renovated historic building. It is an example of how a place from the past can be given new life without losing its soul.
The history remains. The stories continue.
