Do you want to explore the coastline of Peštani or another wild beach along Lake Ohrid? Starting today, we are adding our local hero Miško to the kajak.mk base, who we wrote about last year and offers many interesting and fun kayaking and SUP board tours.

Miško is known for his kayak tours. He rents kayaks from Peštani, where his house is located just 5 meters from the lake. He has created a neat, beautiful beach that his guests can use, and from where the kayaking and SUP board tours begin.

Miško is a licensed instructor and guide. He says that no prior knowledge or skill is required for kayaking because it is quite simple to manage the kayaks, unlike SUP boards, which require prior training, and he himself conducts those training sessions.

He has been in the market since 2019, starting with kayak rentals, and last year he also started renting SUP boards.

Currently, he has 4 double kayaks and 4 SUP boards, which means that he can take up to 12 people on one tour.

Miško says that people from everywhere can join, there is no restriction. Everyone must wear life jackets, and he personally recommends places to visit during the tour.

The tour starts from Peštani and usually heads towards Gradište. First, the "Bay of the Swallows" is visited, and a stop is made at one of the wild beaches where a karaoke party is organized. Sometimes, part of the tour goes to the Church of St. Mother of God Zaumska.

Miško also offers mountain tours where he has a lot of experience. He organizes mountain trips. The tours include climbing Magaro, one of the more attractive tours, and for those who are not in enough physical condition, there are beautiful destinations for hiking like Veleshtovo, Konjsko, and Peštani. Upon request, he also organizes tours in other mountains of Macedonia, such as Shar Mountain, Korab, Pelister, and others.
