Located about 100 km from the capital, Skopje, we depart in the morning and head toward Štip.
Štip is one of the larger cities in Eastern Macedonia, known for its rich history and cultural heritage. The city is home to many monuments from the Roman and Byzantine eras and is especially famous for its textile industry. Štip is also an important center for education and cultural events.
In Štip, we will visit:
- The ancient city of Bargala
- The Isar Fortress
- The City Museum
- The Church of St. Nicholas
- The Husamedin Pasha Mosque
After exploring Štip, we head toward Kočani.
Kočani is especially known for its agriculture, with a focus on rice production. The surroundings offer numerous tourist attractions, including monasteries, historical sites, and natural beauty. Kočani is well-connected to other regions and has a vibrant cultural life, making it an attractive destination for visitors.
We will visit:
- The Monument of Freedom
- The archaeological site of Crkvište - Morodvis
- The town or Kočani Lake
