Stay in a Cottage at 1250 Meters Above Sea Level in the Village of Sasa

From the very beginning of the kajak.mk platform, we have been emphasizing that one of our main goals is to encourage hosts to open the doors of their homes to travelers and share their unique world with those in search of new stories and experiences.

For traditional travelers, this ideology might be a bit hard to digest, given that this concept of promoting tourism and the rural beauty of Macedonia has not been widely developed by many agencies and platforms until now. We will strive as much as possible, through our efforts, to influence future generations and work towards respecting differences.

Today, we would like to introduce you to the host Joce, who opened the doors of his cottage located in the village of Sasa, at 1250 meters above sea level, with a 20-degree slope. The accommodation is just a 2-hour hike away from the summit of Ruin, which stands at 2252 meters.

For those who haven't heard of the village of Sasa, it is a mountain village located in the Osogovo region, in the northern part of the Municipality of Macedonian Kamnik. Here flows the Kamenicka River, including its sources in the Osogovo Mountains.

For those who choose to visit and stay in the village, it is important to know that here they can visit the Sasa Monastery, the Kamenicka River, and of course, engage with the local population, who can offer plenty of information and provide healthy local food.

Joce's cottage is ideal for 6 people. It features 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. If you would like more information about the accommodation, photos, and contact details for reservations, you can get them with just one click HERE.
