Escape to a Secluded Villa at 1400m Surrounded by Pine Forest

Hey guys, summer is coming! The pandemic is losing the battle, vaccination rates are rising, and that means a great summer season is ahead. Some Macedonian tourists will spend their vacations by the water, while others will escape to the mountains. We totally get both—everyone deserves to travel in the way they enjoy the most. One thing’s clear for this upcoming season: nobody wants to stay stuck in the city during the summer heatwaves.

The Kajak.mk team is actively updating its database of private accommodations, which now includes over 160 places, offering you flexible escapes tailored to your needs.

Escape to the mountains, then from the mountains book a stay by a lake, and from there head to the sea for a few days. Kajak.mk’s goal is to help you create a mix of adventurous trips visiting multiple destinations.

One of the spots we highly recommend for this upcoming summer is “Kalin Kamen.”

Today, we talk with host Konstantin Stojanovski, whose villa is located near Kalin Kamen and the Joakim Osogovski Monastery.

Konstantin’s villa is ideal for those seeking mountains, fresh air, peace, and quiet. It is surrounded by dense pine forest with no neighbors nearby.

Konstantin says he receives bookings from people who work hard and are constantly exposed to the sun. Those who work online choose to “relocate” their office to the mountains, even if just for a week.

The villa is perfect all year round. In winter, it offers a beautiful snowy idyll, while in summer it provides opportunities for forest walks, visits to the Stanechki waterfalls, and the nearby lake.

This lake is located at 1400 meters above sea level and is ideal for family outings.

In the immediate vicinity of the villa, there is a children’s park, sports fields, a hunting lodge, beech forest, beautiful meadows, and a large rock that the local people call Kalin Kamen. It is this very rock that is the reason thousands of tourists hike for a full 4 hours.

Konstantin is a host who is available to all guests interested in the region. He says that his villa is accessible by car, and if guests need more information about the area, they will receive it personally from him.
