Villa in Berovo, Macedonia offers free forest fruits degustation
Villa in Berovo, Macedonia offers free forest fruits degustation
When we come
across a place filled with greenness, forest fruits, clear air, things that we
count as national treasure, our team has an inspiration to write about these
places for days.
Today in the
database of Kajak.mk we are adding a villa that is located in Berovo. Here you
can try the most organic and healthy marmalades, juices, jam and stewed forest
fruits. Nature offers so many wonderful forest fruits and the hosts of this
villa make their own healthy products. These products are available for
degustation for all of the guests of the villa, and of course they are approved
by the Institute of public health in Macedonia.
There is a
saying that states that everything made in Berovo is healthy with for sure.
Biggest
advantage to staying in Berovo is the clear air. We must bring attention to the
fact that Berovo is a city with highest concentration of oxygen on the Balkan.
Over the lake passes one of the four corridors of enriched amount of oxygen
found in the world, such as in Peru, Alaska, and North India. These corridors give
ideal conditions for an air bath.
For those who do
not know, Berovo is also famous for its cheese, and it pairs perfectly with the
potatoes that grow on this ground.
If you are
staying in Berovo, it will be a shame if you leave without taking some cheese
home or with a couple of kilograms potatoes as well.
This city is
perfect for active tourism. If you love a good walk, please make sure to walk
around the city, visit the city park and go and see river Bregalnica. But a
must is also Berovo Lake. This lake is a must especially for the lovers of
cycling, because the region offers them a chance to enjoy a really good cycling
day. Villa Amika, has space where you can safely store your bicycles.
On the other
hand, all of you who are not big fans of cycling, you can take a relaxing walk
near the lake. If you want peace and quiet, this is a good spot for meditation
and yoga as well. Just imagine: clear air, nature and a place far away from the
city noise.
Just at the end
of the city, its located Monastery Saint Arhangel and Mihail, famous for the
hand-made mosaics, that is actually made by the nuns in the monastery.
Up on the hill,
you can find a place called “Juovec”, with the most outstanding view. Just 5
kilometres from Villa Amika there is a tourist’s settlement called “Ablanica”
with very dense forest.
If you are
staying in Berovo, you need to enjoy every minute and see everything that this
city and nature have to offer. Which is why, Kajak.mk is recommending you visit
as many locations as possible, in this region. All of them have fantastic
nature worth experiencing.
One more advice
from our team is to visit the small dairy “Klepalo”, 10 kilometres from the
lake. In agreement with the hosts, you can do a degustation of the most famous
sheep cheese. Small part of the road needs to be by foot or with a field
vehicle, because the road is a bit steep and uneven.
Some of our
guests even visit Pehčevo. Others have been visiting waterfalls Ravna Reka,
which are located approximately 20 kilometres away from Villa Amika. The trip
to the waterfalls is a story worth living and seeing.
Villa Amika has
spacious yard for relaxation and a swing for a good afternoon nap. If you are
visiting with children it will be a real fun. Combination of nature sounds and
clear air is what makes this place unforgettable.
