Nature reveals its true artistic and spiritual side in the village of Skrebatno, located on the northern slopes of Mount Galichica at an altitude of 1,130 meters. Dense oak forests meet wide green fields, and the old village houses are scattered like a bird’s nest, creating an open-air museum atmosphere where time seems to stand still.

At the top of the village stands the Church of the Virgin, a source of pride for the locals. Every year, on August 28, for the Orthodox holiday of the Ascension of the Virgin, around 5,000 people from Ohrid and the surrounding area gather at the church, enjoying a traditional lunch prepared in the fields around the village.

Skrebatno is also known for its traditional lime production. Join us to learn the history and techniques firsthand.

11:00 – Ride toward the village
Location: Village Leskoec

13:00 – Lunch break
Location: Village Skrebatno

16:00 – Return to Ohrid
