Rent a House in Berovo and Be Welcomed with Homemade Jam

Rent a House in Berovo and Be Welcomed with Homemade Jam

In the Kajak.mk database, we are adding another authentic accommodation located in the town of Berovo, where the hosts honor the tradition of welcoming guests with homemade jam and water.

Today, we introduce you to the hosts of the “Poli” house, situated in a quiet part of Berovo, featuring a garden perfect for relaxation.

The hosts honor tradition. Staying in their home is not just an ordinary overnight stay but a full gastronomic experience.

The house is quite authentic, and the hostess, Angela, tells us that guests often comment on how hard it is to find accommodation with an authentic spirit nowadays. They offer their guests the chance to enjoy traditional handwoven rugs passed down from their ancestors, and upon arrival, guests are welcomed with homemade jam and water.

The hosts are promoters of the local homemade food prepared in this region of Macedonia. Guests have the opportunity to be served zelnik, poparnik, and Berovo cheese if they choose to order. They add that every good walk around Berovo Lake deserves to be rewarded with a hearty breakfast or dinner.

The lake is located six kilometers from the town—a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Maleševo. It features dense pine forests, hiking trails, cycling paths, and off-road routes—in short, the lungs of the town. The house is situated in a peaceful area and has a backyard with space for grilling and dining.
