Supporting Local Artisans Through Every Team-Building Activity

Supporting Local Artisans Through Every Team-Building Activity

The Kajak team is a witness to the excellent collegial synergy shared by the employees of Avicenna4IT, a company that was part of our social team-building trips this past weekend.

We are happy that another company is now part of the Kajak eco-family, and through entrusting us with their full-day trip organization, they donated 300 new trees for reforestation during the autumn planting. This means that we will have the opportunity to meet again in the fall.

In addition to the fact that the company donated funds for reforestation, it also gave warm support to our local heroes, whom we can proudly say are doing small things with enormous significance for the development of tourism.

Our first stop was in Kavadarci, where we visited the Zingiber atelier. We have written about their work and the wonderful Milevi family in our "Our Stories" section, which you can read with one click HERE.

Such visits to local artisans represent winning combinations for both companies and the development of local craftsmanship.

The employees of Avicenna4IT had the opportunity to hear the story of the development of woodcarving in this family, see how carving is done, and try the basic steps of woodcarving themselves.

Lunch was prepared for us by Aunt Mina, homemade food made with a lot of love.

Our second stop was the "Queen Maria" winery in Demir Kapija, where we had the opportunity to learn about the winery's story, visit some of the oldest barrels in Macedonia, and taste various wines produced under the roof of the winery.

We are happy that we managed to write another positive story, one that we hope will serve as a benchmark for many companies.

Avicenna4IT, welcome to our eco-family.
