Starting the Best Horseback Riding Tours in the Bitola Region, Macedonia

The team at Kajak.mk is working full steam ahead to promote the new, unique tours that will be available starting in 2025!

Today, we’re taking you to the Bitola region, specifically to the village of Kravari, where the new horse ranch "Kjik Bucephal" is located. Surrounded by beautiful nature and situated in a peaceful location, the ranch not only offers horseback riding attractions but also provides tranquility and an escape from the urban chaos and work stress. The ranch is maintained by a professional team of 5 members, ranging from professional riders and photographers to educators, who educate and entertain the guests who come here.

But what is it that makes us at Kajak.mk truly happy?

It’s the fact that these horseback riding tours will allow tourists to visit stunning mountain villages such as Smolevo, Velušina, and Bistrica. They will give visitors the chance to ride on Pelister for the first time, where they can explore beautiful monasteries, meet many locals, and taste traditional homemade food. We can confidently say—this is your new "Call of the Wild."

The ranch currently has six tame and trained horses, suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. This means that, for now, riding groups can have a maximum of five people. The ranch also has several young foals that are still "learning the trade" and will be available for tourists starting next year.

The team at "Bucephalus" says they chose the village of Kravari as the location for their ranch due to its proximity to Bitola, which is just 5 kilometres away. Additionally, the village is rich in vast, picturesque meadows, ideal for year-round horse training. Kravari offers authentic rural peace and tranquillity.

Horseback riding tours wouldn’t be complete without including local traditional food, so homemade pies, local cheese, and fresh vegetables are an essential part of the experience.

For those considering whether to book a tour like this, keep in mind that every visitor receives training before departure, and the tours include professional photography and an English translator if the tourists are foreign.
