Perfect Mountain Retreat on Pelister, Macedonia

Perfect Mountain Retreat on Pelister, Macedonia

The weekend is approaching, and with it comes the question: where should we take our family? We recommend spending the coming months in the mountains, where the fresh air is a clear advantage over the big cities across the country.

Pelister boasts a charming winter idyll, especially considering that the private accommodations on this mountain are quite spaced apart from each other.

The property that is well isolated from other private accommodations is the villa „View“. This villa is located in a very quiet spot, with no neighbors within a 250-meter radius.

But before we introduce you to the villa, there has to be a reason why you should visit this region. You already know that our team places great importance on the true meaning of tourism — active tourism, sports, food tasting, and many other activities aimed at supporting local businesses.

Since we're heading up to Pelister, it's important to know that the ski lift "Nizhe Pole" is located on this mountain.

The ski center is nestled on the slopes of Baba Mountain, situated above the village of Nizhe Pole, at an altitude ranging from 1,300 m to 1,610 m above sea level. It is connected to the city of Bitola by a 15 km paved road.

The “Nizhe Pole” ski center offers the following features:

  • Three ski lifts with a total length of 2,150 meters and a capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour.

  • Skiing available at altitudes from 1,300 to 1,610 meters above sea level.

  • Professional grooming of the slopes using 3 snow groomer machines (ratracks).

  • Length of ski runs under the lifts is about 5,500 meters.

  • A café bar (bachelo) along the ski slopes, open daily from 08:00 to 16:00.

  • Ski season can start in November and last until April at the latest.

  • Collaboration with the ski and snowboard school SSNL, staffed by top ski instructors.

  • Trails suitable for both beginner and advanced skiers.

The villa View is located about 6 kilometers from the "Nizhe Pole" ski lift, 4.2 kilometers from the road to the big lake, and just 500 meters from the Saint Petka Monastery.
