Take Your Kids to Spiro's Cabin

Take Your Kids to Spiro's Cabin

Online Classes from Home Inspire Kajak.mk to Share Tips on Where to Take Your Kids Outdoors

Don’t let your children stay cooped up at home over the weekend. Remote learning, reduced physical activity, and polluted city air can negatively affect their health and development.

Today, we're taking you to Skopska Crna Gora.

If you’ve already been, you know how beautiful it is. But for those who haven’t yet visited Spiro’s Cabin, Marija strongly recommends taking your kids there for a weekend getaway. Keep in mind that snowfall is expected this coming weekend, which means your trip (if snow isn’t a barrier) could turn into a true winter adventure.

Spiro’s Cabin Is Located in Skopska Crna Gora

You can reach it by following the trail that starts from Brodec (by the fountain), and it is about 3.5 kilometers long.

It takes around 2 hours to get to the cabin with your kids. The trail is not steep, which means even younger children can handle it. However, keep in mind that it is a bit long, so it all depends on your child’s energy and motivation.

Just make sure to follow the trail markings on the trees so you don’t get off track.

Nature Can’t Be Described—Especially the View of Skopje and the Surrounding Mountains from Spiro’s Cabin

The cabin is open to everyone who reaches it. You can warm up inside or change clothes if the weather outside is chilly.

Since this is a mountain area, Marija recommends bringing warmer clothing, as it can get quite windy in certain spots

Although Uncle Spiro Built the Wooden Cabin as a Shelter 20 Years Ago, for the Kids It’s a Real Mountain-Side Attraction

This small wooden house in the heart of the mountain captures children's imagination and feels like something out of a fairytale.
