Knowledge passed down — tools gifted by my grandmother

Knowledge passed down — tools gifted by my grandmother

Another heroine from Prilep, who has been crafting her dream through making “Dream Catchers” since she was 6 years old.

Starting today, Kostadinka Koka Neshovska Soleska’s store is open on the Kajak.mk platform. She was born in Veles, but her life journey brought her to Prilep.

She shares that the idea to start making “Dream Catchers” came from a close friend who recognized her talent and skill in creating various handmade crafts.

You can check out Kostadinka’s store with one click HERE.

Kostadinka says that her greatest support comes from her closest ones, as well as from everyone who likes her creations. This encouragement motivates her to keep going in her work.

She shares with Kajak.mk that she is pleasantly surprised by people’s interest in such handmade crafts, especially among the youth who are constantly looking for charms, necklaces, and dream catcher products.

She remembers that in the beginning she wasn’t at all sure if there would be interest in these crafts, but through research and dedication to her work, she realized that such creations are popular across all continents.

Koka says her love for knitting was born long ago, while watching her grandmother selflessly pass down her knowledge. As a child, she knitted blouses, sweaters, bags, and backpacks from all kinds of yarn. When she started embroidering, she had the chance to combine colors and, over time, learned the materials and techniques that now help her express herself more easily and offer quality creations. With each new piece, she improves, and it can be said that she now has great experience.
