Experience the Joy of Staying in My Newly Built Treehouse!
Experience the Joy of Staying in My Newly Built Treehouse!
Looking for locals who do small things of huge significance for the development of local tourism, the Kajak.mk caravan stopped in the village of Spikovo, where we met our new local hero, Marjan. We say he is a true lover of the mountains in the Maleshevo region and the right person you must meet to take you on a walk through the nature of Pehcevo.

Marjan and I have a big challenge ahead in the new year 2023, and we hope that through our collaboration, we will help many discover the beauties offered by Vlaina Mountain.
Marjan is an active hiker, motivator, and a person who lives for Macedonia. To us, he is also an inspiration with his masterpiece: a beautiful wooden eco-house in the village of Spikovo, which he describes as a hideaway that allows him to rest and recharge his batteries.
Kajak.mk is a platform designed to offer you stays in all the unique hideaways in Macedonia, so we would not stay true to our ideology if we didn’t add the wooden cabin and tree house to the Kajak.mk database. Starting today, you have yet another unique destination to visit during the spring and summer days. You can contact the host, Marjan, with a click HERE.

Marjan says that it was the mountain that inspired him to build a wooden hut and a treehouse observatory, which stands at a height of 10 meters. He shares that many were in disbelief that he could successfully build a 360-degree viewpoint, from which he believes Malesevija looks absolutely stunning.
For those interested in staying in the wooden hut, Marjan mentions that the stay is free of charge, but it is the responsibility of every guest to care for and protect nature, and to be vocal against littering in the environment.

The hut is located just 5 kilometers from the town of Pehcevo, specifically in the village of Spikovo. Although there is no paved road leading to the village, this serves as a great incentive to organize an active hiking tour from the town to the village. For more information, you can consult with Marjan.
The house is decorated in a Macedonian ethno concept, radiating the tradition and history of the Macedonian people. It is situated on private land where Marjan has a large orchard with plum trees. As for the property and the hut, Marjan says that he will continue to invest in it.

Today, Spikovo is a village with no permanent residents, but it is often visited by locals like Marjan, who use their free days to enjoy nature. He is a member of the Kadijica hiking club, and Marjan's experience will be featured in our social trips that we will organize throughout the upcoming year.
If your team or company is interested in a one-day hike with Marjan, feel free to get in touch with him with a single click HERE.
