Shaping the Future of Active Tourism in Macedonia: Our Camp's Vision
Travel has always been a source of inspiration, encouraging us to explore and appreciate the small moments in life. At Kajak, we believe that anyone with a passion for adventure will always find a way to travel, whether it’s to distant places or a peaceful retreat in a wooden cottage.

As we dive into the topic of unique travels and accommodations, we are excited to share that, starting today, the Kajak.mk database has been expanded to include the distinctive offerings of Camp “SCOUT”—widely regarded as one of the best camps in Macedonia.

This could be your new dimension of summer vacation. The camp is perfect for those who love active tourism, those eager to forge new friendships, and anyone excited to embrace the vibrant spirit of the 21st century.

Camp SCOUT is fully equipped and recently renovated, offering a unique experience thanks to its expansive 6,500 m² area surrounded by a large forest. Situated just around the corner from Struga, the camp is right on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Its location is perfect for guests, as it is only 500 meters from the city center, 400 meters from the main green market, and within a 500-meter radius of five different beaches. This makes it an ideal spot for young people seeking active recreation and fun, as well as families who prefer a peaceful camping experience under the cool shade of the forest during the day.

As mentioned earlier, Camp SCOUT is a haven for lovers of active tourism. Here, you'll find a wide range of activities, including diving courses led by experienced instructors. Upon completing the course, you'll receive a PADI certification—recognized worldwide, making this a perfect opportunity to explore the depths of Lake Ohrid and gain an internationally respected qualification.

In addition to diving, Camp SCOUT offers a variety of other exciting activities, including sailing, speed boating, kayaking, and canoeing. Igor also highly recommends a scenic tour along the Crn Drim River, where you can explore the area by kayak or inflatable boat, making for a truly unique and adventurous experience.

In addition to water activities, Camp SCOUT offers a wide range of mountain tours, perfect for those who enjoy exploring the great outdoors. These include walking, hiking, cycling, as well as orientation and survival tours, providing guests with opportunities to challenge themselves and connect with nature in new and exciting ways.

Even if you’re not a guest of the camp, you can still book a tour. However, special offers are available exclusively for camp guests.
