Рекорден број на фламинга го обојуваат Мумбаи во розово за време на карантинот
Стотици илјади фламинга ја обојуваат Индија во розово додека земјата е во целосен карантин поради COVID-19.
Од осумдесеттите години на минатиот век, голем број розови фламинга мигрираат во Мумбаи помеѓу октомври и март во потрага по храна. Стадата се состојат од поголеми фламинга (повисокиот и најраспространетиот вид) како и пократките фламинга (кои се загрозени) со повеќе розова боја.
Но ова година се чини дека громното семејство се зголемило. Жителите велат дека толкав број на фламинга немале забележано. Ноќе тие се собираат да ловат во локалните води, а жителите ги фотографитаат и сликите ги соделуваат на социјалните мрежи. Коментарите на сликите се дека тие ги осветлуваат езерата ноќе.
