Utarna Terrace is located in a unique spot and offers an unforgettable view of Lake Ohrid. For mountain lovers and fans of homemade delicious food, this gastronomic destination will be the perfect bite for them.

Host Irina briefly shared the story of Utarna with us.

It all started seven years ago when her husband Blagoja, who was in constant communication with tourists, came up with the idea to open their own restaurant in the village of Gorno Konjsko (where the terrace is located), offering traditional homemade food.

Irina remembers that they started with only five small wooden tables, which over time grew to 10, and now they have 20. The reason their story is a success is the food and the view.

When it comes to food, Irina says that guests most often request food that is homemade. The most popular specialties are ajvar, pies, and homemade sausages.

Food at 'Utarna Terrace' perfectly complements the stunning view of the lake. Irina mentions that many guests walk to the venue, while others come by car.

For those who choose to walk, they should know that Gorno Konjsko village, where the venue is located, is 3 kilometers from the main road along the lake, and it sits at an altitude of 1100 meters. A bus doesn't go up to the final destination, but it can be visited by minibus.

At the beginning of our article, we mentioned that the terrace is a perfect spot for nature and mountain lovers. Here, we must mention the beauty of Galicica, its nature, and the expansive views you can photograph while hiking to the location.

Often, the terrace is half-full with groups of tourists arriving by minibus, so Kajak's advice is to always contact the hosts, who are on Kajak.mk, before visiting the venue.
