Today, we are meeting David, a young man who, 8 years ago, moved with his family from Skopje to the village of Rashtak. He is known for his innovative and youthful brand of dairy products, "Kozi Mleko Planina."
This village, where he decided to invest, was not chosen by chance—his grandparents spent their lives right here. He says that he didn't find his place in the city, so he decided to "activate" the family land with his family. They started by purchasing 10 goats and began studying goat farming and the process of turning milk into dairy products.
The decision was a family one, carefully considered for a long time. The choice of goats was determined by the village's terrain, as well as self-education on the advantages of goat's milk and dairy products, which are celebrated worldwide. Unfortunately, this branch of farming had been somewhat forgotten here, and its continuity was interrupted, says David.
