A Villa Above Lake Ohrid You Can't Miss This Summer

A Villa Above Lake Ohrid You Can't Miss This Summer

In Macedonia, there are some of the most beautiful private accommodations, but only if you know how to truly enjoy them. While some tourists pay enormous sums just to be in the front rows of the beach, foreign tourists, on the other hand, pay large amounts to be surrounded by pure nature, where the holiday will truly be a rest in the truest sense.

If you take a walk around Lake Ohrid, you will encounter unique villas that, nestled in the mountains, offer breathtaking views of the lake. One such property, which is now part of the kajak.mk base, is Paradise Nest House. Built in 2018, it is a new construction, yet with preserved elements. The villa is made of stone and wood, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings.

The hostess Ivona, who opened her doors to the world of Kajak.mk, says that the interior and exterior design of the villa is the work of her father Zoran, who built the villa with his own hands, with full support from the family during the construction process.

The interior of the villa is quite unique, with each piece telling its own story. The yard is spacious, adorned with hammocks and a grassy lawn.

What stands out the most is the breathtaking view the villa offers of the sunset over the lake. Can you imagine yourself relaxing in the yard on a swing, with soft music playing and a beautiful sunset as the backdrop?

For active tourists and those looking to avoid a typical vacation, this accommodation will meet their needs. Just a short distance from the villa, there are hiking trails leading to the villages of Shipokno, Velestovo, and Konjsko. What’s important to mention is that the villa owners organize tours to Mount Galicica, as well as boat tours to Trpejca, which include lunch at a fish restaurant. To make the vacation even more adventurous, the owners also offer sailing and paragliding tours.
