In today’s urban lifestyle, there is an increasing need to guide children toward activities that develop practical skills, creativity, and independence. “Vezden – Academy for Young Chefs” is a new educational and creative concept in Macedonia, dedicated to introducing children to the basics of cooking.

The academy is designed as a space where children learn through hands-on practice what food preparation means, how basic ingredients are used, and how the entire process works – from an idea to a finished dish. The teaching is delivered through interactive workshops, adapted to the age and interests of the participants.

Throughout the program, children are introduced to basic kitchen techniques, learn about hygiene in food preparation, workspace organization, and teamwork. Each step is guided in a way that encourages learning through experience, without pressure, with a strong focus on creativity and practical application.

The workshops are led by individuals with culinary experience, with an emphasis on a safe and structured environment. Each session is organized so that children actively participate, ask questions, and independently carry out parts of the preparation process.

A special part of the program is the shared tasting of the prepared dishes, allowing children to connect effort with results. Additionally, the program encourages the development of healthy eating habits and a better understanding of food as part of everyday life.

“Vezden – Academy for Young Chefs” is designed for school-aged children and is structured as a weekly educational activity. The goal is to foster a love for cooking, develop motor skills, and build self-confidence through practical learning.
