Unique Villa Stays in Ljubaništa – Where Tranquility Reigns
Unique Villa Stays in Ljubaništa – Where Tranquility Reigns
On the first day of April, the Kajak.mk team takes you to the shores of Lake Ohrid.
With the arrival of spring, travelers are increasingly searching for accommodations by the water, as well as secluded stays away from urban areas, allowing them to enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment.
Today, we present to you a villa that is part of our private accommodation database, owned by true culinary experts.
This urban and modern villa is located in Ljubaništa, one of our favorite spots along Lake Ohrid. It is owned by Prof. Dr. Angela Pasquale, a professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Ohrid, where she teaches Nutrition, Dietetics, Enology, and Food Science.
Angela’s husband, Franco Pasquale, is an Italian from Puglia, southern Italy. Together, they have explored all of Italy and nearly the entire world.
Throughout their travels, they have focused primarily on local cuisine, gastronomy, and the cultural identity of each destination.
Prof. Dr. Angela Pasquale has led over 20 European projects related to the significance of local cuisine in shaping a destination’s image. She emphasizes that food is a powerful tool for promoting local identity and culture.
She is also a representative member of Slow Food Macedonia, contributing to numerous projects, including the branding of "Slow Food" taverns, the Balkan Food Cooking Heritage initiative, and more.
What makes Villa Butterfly and Villa Unika unique is that guests can receive expert advice and recommendations from the owners for an authentic gastronomic experience of the region.
The accommodations are located 600 meters from the beach and 2 kilometres from the stunning St. Naum Monastery. Both villas offer complete privacy, featuring a separate yard and private parking.
Each villa has two floors. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms:
- Two bedrooms with a double bed (160x200 cm), each with a private terrace overlooking the lake.
- One bedroom with bunk beds.
- A shared bathroom.
