Ivana’s Filigree Art: Handcrafted Stories Shaped with Patience and Uniqueness

One of them is Ivana, an artist who creates filigree jewelry with a strong personal touch and a story behind every piece.

Her love for handmade creation has existed for a long time, but she found her true direction in 2017, when she finally began her formal journey into filigree art. After completing a course, Ivana started working independently, gradually shaping her own recognizable style.

For her, every piece of jewelry is far more than a decorative object. The process begins with an idea, continues through sketching, careful crafting, and stone selection, but its true value, she says, is born from the energy embedded in the work. Often, conversations with clients also become part of the creation itself, helping shape a design that ultimately carries a personal story and emotion.

Her inspiration comes from multiple sources. Nature offers her organic forms and softness in lines, while geometric structures bring clarity and character to her designs. A special place in her work is reserved for personalized jewelry — pieces that carry memories, emotions, and life stories. From jewelry incorporating breast milk, to pieces inspired by children’s drawings, and even symbols connected to pets, each creation becomes an intimate record of a life lived. At times, Ivana also combines different materials, such as stained glass and silver, adding a contemporary touch to a traditional craft.

Although she has created many unique pieces, one of the dearest to her remains the very first item she made at the beginning of her learning journey — not because of its perfection, but because of the beginning it represents.
