Our Winery Has Won Multiple Gold Medals, Boosting Our Motivation
At Kajak.mk, we have a saying that we constantly use: small wineries are the future and the soul of Macedonian wine. This is especially true considering the fact that a lot of hard work, love, and care go into producing each bottle, ensuring its authenticity and telling the story of the labor dedicated to the vineyards.

At Kajak.mk's shop, you can find many small family wineries, whose wines are worth ordering and tasting. Every bottle purchased means support and motivation for these wineries to continue investing in quality wine that will one day be an ambassador for Macedonia.
Today, we introduce you to 'Boškov Winery,' whose wine varieties you can order with just one click HERE.

We spoke with Goran, the man behind the 'Boškov' brand, who shared the beginnings of the winery officially registered in 2021 with Kajak.mk.
Goran says that today they produce wine from the varieties Temjanika, Vranec, Smederevka, and Rkatsiteli, noting that it's hard to say which wine makes them the most proud. However, he highlights that at the last young wine competition, their Smederevka won a gold medal, Vranec earned silver, and Temjanika received a bronze medal.

The fertile Macedonian soil has allowed them to produce high-quality grapes, says Goran. Especially the Tikveš region, which is synonymous with the production of the finest grapes and wine. The Boškov family tradition has been passed down through four generations, and the fifth generation is already being trained from a young age on how to produce good wine, mađun, rakija, and mastika.
Today, the Boškov family winery has a production capacity of up to 4,000 liters of wine, with plans to expand in the future.

The wines they produce are: Temjanika, Vranec, Rkatsiteli, Smederevka, and Rosé Cuvee. All of the wine is made from their own vineyards, located across several micro-locations in the Tikveš region. Some are in the village of Kamen Dol, some in the village of Sirkovo, and the largest part is in the village of Mrzen Oraovec, from where the family's ancestors originate. The total area under vineyards is 5 hectares. With great attention, effort, and love, they pass down the tradition to the youngest members, the 5th generation. As a small winery, they have their own visions and plans for further development, both in terms of the vineyards and the family winery.
