Experience Nea Kallikratia as Your Second Home

Experience Nea Kallikratia as Your Second Home

After a full year and 3 months, we can confirm that starting from May 14th, Greece is opening its borders to Macedonian tourists. According to the information available so far, entry into Greece will require either a PCR test or a certificate confirming that the tourist has been vaccinated.

The team at Kajak.mk is excited to begin expanding its database of private accommodations located in Greece, Montenegro, Albania, and Serbia. We believe it's time for tourism to spread its wings once again.

The first destination we’re adding to our database is Nea Kallikratia. Here, we met the host Isidora, who told us that this destination is a paradise for everyone.

Her apartments “Dora,” judging by the photos we’ve seen, are more than just ordinary accommodation. She says that tourists here create stories, and many of the guests already feel like part of the family because of the trust that has been built between hosts and guests.

Nea Kallikratia is located on the Halkidiki peninsula, about 35 minutes from Thessaloniki. It features a long sandy beach, numerous restaurants, taverns, cafés, and amusement parks for children.

For those of you who choose to stay at the “Dora” apartments, the team at Kajak.mk recommends visiting “Sahara” Beach, located just 3–4 kilometers from Nea Kallikratia, or exploring some of the nearby wild beaches.

Whether you're vacationing in Macedonia or abroad, our advice is to bring your bicycles with you if possible. The long coastline and surroundings of Nea Kallikratia offer excellent conditions for morning cycling or jogging along the shore.

Isidora is happy that Macedonian tourists will once again have the chance to visit the sea. She says that every guest staying at Villa Dora will feel at home. In the courtyard of the complex, many friendships are formed, and countless new connections are made.

It often happens that guests want to showcase their culinary skills by preparing specialties that impress the others.

Speaking of gastronomy, don’t forget to spend your evenings in the local taverns. Nea Kallikratia is located on the western coast of the peninsula, offering a phenomenal sunset — best enjoyed with a glass of ouzo, fresh seafood, and the crisp sea air.

Dora is the perfect retreat for every tourist. The apartments are located in a quiet area not far from the coast. The yard of the accommodation is ideal for the safety of children. If you want more information, prices, and photos of the accommodation, click HERE.
