Cozy Treehouse Available for Private Booking in a Macedonian Village

Cozy Treehouse Available for Private Booking in a Macedonian Village

Meet Tamara and Dušan, true enthusiasts. As we have previously shared, Kajak.mk aims to promote the little things that make a big difference in the development of domestic tourism. Our platform not only aggregates offers from all tourist agencies, attractions, and private accommodations, but also talks directly with owners of small projects that play a significant role in tourism development. Such is the story of Tamara and Dušan, who built a treehouse in the village of Rankovce, located just 20 kilometers from Kokino or about an hour’s drive from Skopje.

Their wooden little house is named “TriHaus & TajniHaus” because it holds a special meaning for them. Dušan began building the house. His love for this hobby inspired him to dedicate his free time to creating something like this. Later, Dušan met his future wife Tamara, who helps him with the decorating and provides full support.

They say they won’t stop here; on the contrary, there is still much more to invest in. To climb up to the little house, there is a ladder, and there is also an interesting feature — climbing up or down by rope.

Inside, the little house features a living area and a bedroom gallery above it, offering a fantastic view. The house is surrounded by windows, providing beautiful natural light during the day and creating a wonderful ambiance at night, especially when the moonlight casts its magic.

The silence, the sky full of stars — according to them, the time of year you visit is very important. Every guest’s favorite moments are the sunrises and sunsets. The accommodation is equipped with a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and guests also receive free parking and breakfast. During the winter, there is heating, and the room includes a workspace for a laptop. An interesting feature is that meals can be prepared on stone.

They say that the constant changes happening in the world are leading people to reduce the size of the space they live in. People join these social movements for many reasons, but the most important is the desire for more time and freedom. This "wooden" home, detached from everyday reality, can also be booked for overnight stays.

An ideal place for people who want, even for a moment, to forget about work problems, the internet, and the fast pace of life. As they tell us, in order to protect travelers from the spread of the coronavirus, and also to safeguard their own family, this little house will not be available for rent in the upcoming period.
