Светската здравствена организација соопшти дека ширењето на „Ковид-19“ ширум светот достигна фаза каде може да се опише како пандемија. На дневниот брифинг, генералниот директор на СЗО, Тедрос Аданом Гебрејзус, откри дека сега има повеќе од 118.000 случаи во 114 земји, а 4.229 лица ги загубија животите.
„Пандемијата не е збор да се користи лесно или безгрижно. Тоа е збор што, доколку се злоупотреби, може да предизвика неразумен страв или неоправдано прифаќање дека борбата завршила, што доведува до непотребно страдање и смрт “, рече генералниот директор.
