Active Weekend in Rankovce with Sparkasse Bank

It's a joy when you organize unforgettable experiences for companies, many of whom have never even heard of them before. This past weekend, we had the opportunity to spend time with Sparkasse Bank, whose employees visited our local heroes, got to know their work, and learned how they promote tourism.

From Pelister, Ponikva, Mavrovo, the Tikvesh region, all the way to Rankovce — this is the destination we will focus on in today’s read.

To travelers who live in the world of Kajak, Rankovce is known for Maria Duda’s ranch, where many stories were written this summer, new friendships were made, and a fresh spark for tourism development in this village was ignited.

We have written a lot about our heroine Duda. She is one of the rare people who choose to return and invest in Macedonia.

Duda lives for the development of rural tourism in Rankovce. Her love for horses and the ranch as a lifestyle is the wind at her back and her greatest motivation, helping her create the first Green Comfort Center for animal therapy in Macedonia.

We are glad that Sparkasse Bank chose this destination, which we can confidently say is a huge support for Maria and an incentive for her to continue investing where she left off.

The employees of Sparkasse Bank got acquainted with the way horses are raised. They learned a lot of information about the characteristics of these animals and also helped Maria with gathering hay for their feed, as well as collecting fresh fruits from the ranch’s garden.

For Maria Duda, organizing such events is a great opportunity to introduce guests to the rural way of life, to the duties on the farm, which are not simple and start early in the morning and last until sunset.

Upon arrival at the ranch, the Sparkasse Bank team could immediately feel the positive vibes of the surroundings. The ranch is pet-friendly, and almost every year Maria welcomes a new stray dog, while the number of horses continues to grow year by year.

For host Maria, hippotherapy with horses is something every individual needs. Her ranch offers accommodation for all those interested in staying for multiple days. The purpose of staying at the ranch is to provide guests with therapy through horses, to bring happiness to all children who need to feel the energy of the horses, and to enjoy healthy vegan food.

According to Maria, this is also an excellent place for team-building events and practicing yoga, for which she holds a certification from an Ashram in India.
