Weekend Destination Suggestion: Gorna Kuća in the Village of Slepcé

Weekend Destination Suggestion: Gorna Kuća in the Village of Slepcé

Another weekend is ahead, and some of you are still wondering where to spend your free days. That's why we at kajak.mk would like to give you a suggested option for accommodation with a gastronomic experience in a region that isn't yet so widely known for tourism, but in our opinion, it should be one of the first regions where tourism will develop in the future.

The kajak.mk team introduces you to another gastro destination in the village of Slepcé, Demir Hisar, named 'Gorna Kuća.'

This hospitality venue has been thoroughly renovated recently, while still preserving the delicious food traditionally served in this region of Macedonia.

To reach 'Gorna Kuća,' you will take the road passing through Demir Hisar, leading towards the village of Slepcé. The venue is accessible by any type of vehicle. The road is paved and easily accessible.

The hosts of the national restaurant say that the establishment was built in 2009 and has now been fully renovated. It originally served as a local house, but they decided to transform it into an inn, which today stands as a beautiful venue, showcasing its hospitality success.

For those who want to spend their time walking in nature, it’s good to know that near the restaurant, you can visit the St. John the Baptist Monastery.

For those who are true gastronomes, the food recommended by the kajak.mk team at the restaurant includes: ribs, oven-baked knuckles, traditional pituļici, maznic, zelnik, tavče gravče, homemade and winter salads. Don't forget to order pituļici with garlic, seasonal mushroom specialties, and homemade village bread.

As for accommodation in this area, the kajak.mk team recommends staying in Sloeshtica, which we recently added to our database. You can check it out with just one click HERE.

Does all this sound like the perfect idea for a great weekend in nature?
