A Villa in Mavrovo with a Romantic View and a Cozy Atmosphere
A Villa in Mavrovo with a Romantic View and a Cozy Atmosphere
Hey friends, just like we promised! We’re continuing to expand our database of private accommodations across Macedonia. Eco Kajak.mk introduces you to the most beautiful private stays in Mavrovo and the surrounding area, and gives you the opportunity to book for yourself and your loved ones.
Today, we want to introduce you to Fadil Zendeli — a husband and father of two who says he has dedicated his life to building this accommodation, which is also their small family business.
Villa Rizandi is located in Mavrovo and features three bedrooms, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, and central heating through a fireplace system. One of the villa’s best features is its stunning view of Mavrovo Lake, plus a beautiful yard with a barbecue area for guests to enjoy.

Whenever we introduce you to the accommodations in Mavrovo, the eco-concept of Kajak.mk also aims to acquaint you with attractive tourist spots that will make your vacation more active.
Our recommendation for the adventurous travelers is a visit to Korab Waterfall (Proifelski Waterfall), located in the upper course of the Dlaboka River on Mount Korab. It appears in the spring months from the melting snow on the eastern side of the Mal Korab peak. Depending on the season and the water flow from its source, the waterfall varies in height and intensity. But even if it’s not flowing, the region is still beautiful and worth visiting.

Different sources report varying heights for the waterfall, ranging between 70 and 138 meters. The exact height can depend on the specific points measured during different surveys. The top of the waterfall is located at an altitude of about 2,050 meters, while the base is around 1,950 meters above sea level.
We strongly recommend that you undertake the hike exclusively with a professional mountain guide.
