Unique Stay in a Secluded Mountain Cabin in Macedonia

Another great spring challenge for all adventurers, especially for adventurous families who constantly take their children to new and unusual places in Macedonia.

Check out the quick details of the accommodation with one click HERE.

Today, the kajak.mk team takes you to the village of Bitushe, at 1000 meters above sea level, where a new wooden mountain cabin is being built in untouched nature. Believe it or not, it's equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. That's right, here you also have Wi-Fi, meaning you can freely move your office into nature.

For all lovers of the "Call of the Wild," we can confirm that this accommodation will offer you a truly different weekend, recharge your batteries, and take you away from the chaos of events in the country and the world.

Why do we say this? Because this accommodation is located in the most beautiful part of Macedonia, surrounded by nature and forests.

Bitushe is a village in the Mijak region of Macedonia, known for its beautiful Vodici tradition, filled with vibrant Macedonian folk costumes and authentic songs. The village itself is an open-air museum for us, and the entire region of Mavrovo National Park is rich with significant landmarks that will definitely fill your free time. Starting with St. John Bigorski Monastery, Rajchica, the Radika River, Ribnicka River, the mountain peaks of Krchin, the ice-cold Lokuf Lake, delicious local food, and many other things you can experience during your stay.

Apart from Vodici, Bitushe also celebrates its village holiday on Ilinden, but from June to October, this village is worth every dinar invested in the journey here.

The mountain cabin, which is now part of the kajak.mk world, is located at 800 meters in the vicinity of the St. Cyril and Methodius monastery complex, a beautiful monastery that truly deserves a visit. Also, not far from the monastery, in the nearby forest, you'll find the "Branova Cheshma" (Spring).

The cabin will be officially opened on 01.06.2025, as a few final touches are still being completed. Soon, we will also share many great spring photos that we are sure will attract you even more. It has a capacity for 4 people, i.e., 2 adults and 2 children, and at the moment, the yard is being prepared, where you will have the opportunity to set up tents and camp. We will provide more details about this option soon.
