Did you know that you can stay overnight in the Macedonian Cappadocia?

Did you know that you can stay overnight in the Macedonian Cappadocia?

The Kajak.mk team is actively promoting spring adventure destinations where you can spend an amazing weekend with your family or close friends. The winning combination for a great weekend for every Macedonian traveler consists of three key factors: engaging activities to fill the day, delicious food, and quality accommodation.

This perfect combination can be found in the newest accommodation we are adding to our private stays database today, located in the village of Kuklica, near Kratovo.

You can view and book the accommodation with just one click HERE.

The title referring to the village of Kuklica as the "Macedonian Cappadocia" aims to emphasize that Macedonia has places we should appreciate much more and promote beyond the country's borders.

Our goal today is to prove that a weekend spent in the village of Kuklica can be the perfect getaway. Why do we say this? Because the region itself has so much to offer. Starting with the town of Kratovo, which you must explore, as its story is unlike any other town in Macedonia. We call Kratovo an open-air museum. In addition to Kratovo, there is also the village of Kuklica.

In the village itself, you will find the "Stone Dolls," a site protected as a natural rarity. Throughout the area, there are around 120 smaller and about 15 larger stone formations, making this destination truly unique for exploration. At the site, you will always be welcomed by a local resident who will share the folk tale about the origin of the stone dolls.

The accommodation we are talking about today is located right next to the site. It features a spacious yard where your children can enjoy, surrounded by trees that provide shade during the summer.

When it comes to food, the accommodation includes an ethno restaurant where delicious traditional specialties are prepared using local ingredients. The maximum accommodation capacity is 12 people, allowing you to gather your entire group for a weekend adventure.
